The AR70W is a wide ratio version of the AODE. The most noticeable
differences are in the gear train.
There is no easy way to identify which unit you are working
on by looking at them from the outside, fully assembled (other
than your Ford dealer using the numbers off your case).
Clutch frictions and steels are different between these
units so be sure to identify which unit you have before ordering
your kit.
